Maurice’s artworks include film, photography, line drawing and installations.

His visual film FALLEN ANGELS exhibited in Ireland, London, New York & Cannes Film Festival.

His film DRYING IN THE RAIN, which was collaboration with filmmaker Euge O Conner was exhibited in Donegal and China.

Curated exhibitions include: Gimmie Shelter, The In Pursuit Series 1,2,3& 4 with The Siamsa Gallery. He has curated Andrew Zuckerman (New York), Sarah Maple (UK) Marysa Dowling (UK) and Amanda Coogan (Ireland).

His work has been published in a number of publications here in Ireland.

His most recent visual film is a documentary on the artist Pauline Bewick, called PAULINE BEWICK: YELLOW MAN GREY MAN.

Maurice Galway is also the founder and CEO/Artistic Director of the Dingle International Film Festival/Féile Idirnáisiúnta Scannán an Daingin. He established the festival in 2007.

Guests to the festival have included: Gabriel Byrne, Sarah Miles, Sir Alan Parker, Jim Sheridan, Cillian Murphy, Stephen Frears, Lisa Albert, Saoirse Ronan, Maureen O Hara, Sophie Fiennes, Jean-Jacques Beineix, Barbara Kopple, Garrett Brown, Ned Dowd, Jimmy T. Murakami, Leslie Dixon, Anthony Wall and Geoff Wonfor.

As CEO of the business he is responsible for financing the company; building relationships with sponsors and public funding bodies. Maurice is also responsible for marketing the festival and running its day-to-day business.

The festival is home to The Gregory Peck Award: For Excellence in The Art of Film.

He lives in Kerry with his wife Catherine and their 4 children.
